How do i get the change filter light off my samsung refrigerator?

how do i get the change filter light off my samsung refrigerator.ive changed the filter and ran 8 full glasses of water through to clean everything out but the filter light is still on? its red not green?please help?|||Samsung Refrigerators - Press and Hold the Ice Type and Child Lock Buttons at the same time for 3 seconds.
