My dad bought a samsung hdtv from a second-hand source and it recently malfunctioned?

It may have been stolen. I called samsung and gave them my model code, serial number, everything. and since my dad believes it was stolen, he believes they will track the serial number and we would be in trouble. Should there be any worries of them tracking the serial number?|||The manufacturer does not concern themselves with this issue. They already receive the money for the tv and if it has not been registered they are not going to honor the warranty. Just got this new phone. The Samsung Intercept. When someone sends you a txt with a pic attached it has a clickable "download" button next to it. I tried clicking it and it says "downloading". Then does nothing and goes back to saying "download". How can I view the pic?|||There should be some option like 'save image' or something.. try to select the image by scrolling up or down and you must get an option to save your image. Good Luck.

I got my samsung series 5 hdtv connected to PS3 via HDMI and my PS3 to the hdtv via HDMI as well. Problem is sound. PS3 sound is not detected by Home theater.
